Who We Are: Get the Shot, Hardcore From Quebec City

We're Get the Shot, a hardcore band from Quebec City. This store is ours, and every design in it comes from the same place we do. Here's who we are.

Where did Get the Shot start?

We started in Quebec City, Quebec, in 2009. That December we put out our first EP, In Fear We Stand, on our own. Quebec City hardcore is where we come from, and it's still home.

What do we sound like?

Hardcore at the core, with thrash and death metal pushed right into it. Bands like Hatebreed, Obituary and Slayer are part of how we got here. Heavy, fast, and built for the pit.

Where have we played?

Everywhere we could. We've played over 700 shows on three continents, from small rooms to Wacken, Hellfest, FEQ and Resurrection Fest. We toured Europe in 2013, twice in 2017 (with Comeback Kid and Deez Nuts, then with Nasty and Lionheart) and again in 2018, with Hellfest, Heavy Montréal and Metal Frenzy Open Air on the way.

What do we stand for?

Three words we come back to: authenticity, integrity, and equality. Some of our designs say it louder than that.

What does that mean for the merch?

Our records: a lot of our designs carry the names of our releases, from In Fear We Stand to Merciless Destruction.

Our words: others are slogans we live by, like Death to Oppressors and Erase the Scum.

Quebec City: the city we started in runs through the whole collection.

Every design comes on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, in black or white, with kids' and youth sizes too. Every product page has its own size chart, so you can check the fit before you order.
